Hello, and thanks for visiting! A couple of months ago a good friend nominated me in one of those Facebook challenges you may have seen doing the rounds - 7 black and white photos over 7 days from your ordinary life, excluding people and pets, posted without explanation. I accepted the challenge, and enjoyed the process so much that I was soon wondering how I could extend it. This blog is my answer. The photos won't always be in black and white - I've long understood how important colour is to me - but I plan to adhere to the other rules of the challenge for a full 365 days and, in doing so, tell the story of the next year in my life. Knowing how I struggle with discipline, especially self-discipline, I imagine this process will throw up quite a few challenges for me but hopefully that will all be part of the growing and learning process. There will be little or no explanation posted, though I'll be happy to chat in the comments, and I hope you find something here to enjoy.
HeHe! Do you know..I NEVER! NEVER! Let anything get into that state...Typical Virgo see..! :). I'd pull my hair out, if l saw anything that like that in my home! :).
ReplyDeleteThankfully..l still have all my hair..!
And, l've just taken delivery of some new duvet covers, bubble~gum pink..what else, which will go well with my new bubble~gum pink TV for the bedroom, arriving tomorrow! Had a new aerial fitted yesterday, needed a new TV, as both passed their sell~by~date..so, all fixed for night time viewing..! I was surprised, l now have 148 Freeview channels and 47 radio channels, as l said to my daughter, l'll never get any sleep now! :0).
Well, you know Willie, if it was usually in that state I wouldn't be able to get into bed, and I'D never get any sleep, now would I??? ;-l
ReplyDeleteIt was in that state because I was sorting out a bedroom cupboard, in the wake of us building Gary a new wardrobe earlier in the year, and going through old cards, letters and jewellery boxes in the process.
It was pouring with rain so we couldn't get on site. Gary took the opportunity to attack some paperwork and I took the chance to sort the cupboard and catch up on some housework (I work VERY full time, family to support, and I never let housework take over my non-work life, so it gets done when it gets done!). Neither the paperwork nor the housework went particularly well, which was symptomatic of the day as a whole - two steps forward and one back in everything we did. Still, I promise you I slept like a log in a well made bed, in an immaculate bedroom, at the end of the day!
